Robert Upham
After playing golf collegiately at McNeese State University, Robert turned professional in 1985. In 2002 he turned his focus to teaching full-time. Since, he has been a Houston fixture. He taught at Pinecrest Country Club from 2002 – 2017. Since 2008 – current he teaches out of Battleground Deer Park, as well as the new East River 9 in downtown Houston and right here at ‘The Setup’ facility. His philosophy is ‘Keep Things Simple’. His approach consists of teaching to everyone personally, strong fundamentals, build better through drills and fitness, and be a steward of your own swing. He works with juniors, adults, scratch, and pro level golfers.
